My dog is a working breed and needs to exercise his brain as well as his body, so I was looking to try Scentwork with him when I moved to Fife and Magnus K9 came highly recommended.
But he's older..... no problem, they work with dogs of any age.
But he's reactive to other dogs..... no problem, lots of the dogs they work with are reactive.
So we started classes earlier this year and have already progressed to passing our first Scentwork trials.
The advice, guidance and support offered by Becks and Jess are second to none - there's no judgement and no criticism (except of the constructive sort), just gentle encouragement (& the odd kick up the backside if you need it !!) with a good dose of humour thrown in to train both dog and handler. Since we started with them, I've had numerous comments from friends about how much calmer and focussed my boy is now. He's still reactive but we're working on that too.
Their classes and trials are a wonderful community of like minded people all with one aim - to help their dogs get the most out of life.
If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I really can't recommend these guys highly enough.
